The Intner Group was founded by Scott Intner — a seasoned compliance professional with over twenty years working as a healthcare attorney and executive. Scott Intner has a demonstrated track record of establishing and managing effective and sustainable healthcare compliance programs and partnering with operational leadership to lift the overall organization.

Scott provides independent healthcare compliance consulting primarily to providers and systems evaluating and restructuring compliance programs or selected portions of their programs. He is currently engaged in an extended role with one of the largest public hospitals in the country to review and restructure key elements of their compliance program, particularly in the areas of focused arrangements, conflict of interest/conflict of commitment, entity management and regulatory change management.

Prior to consulting, Scott was the Chief Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer for The George Washington University’s academic faculty practice, leading a team of nine compliance professionals and managing the overall compliance program for a 700+ provider practice covering multiple jurisdictions, including international activities. He previously served in a similar role for a community-based health system overseeing not just the compliance program but also having responsibilities in the areas of ambulatory strategy, the development of the employed physician network and providing legal services.

An active professional, Scott Intner is very involved with the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and has the honor of chairing both the Professional Skills program track for the annual Compliance Institute and the planning committee for the DC, Maryland and Virginal Regional Conference. Scott has spoken nationally on a variety of compliance topics. Most recently primarily on the topic of compliance, governance and risk management for artificial intelligence.
